Seasoned hotelier Michael Koth has been appointed as normal supervisor of the long-lasting Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
He will even take up the place of space vice chairman of operations, overseeing Mandarin Oriental Jumeira and the upcoming Mandarin Oriental Downtown, each in Dubai.
The latter is scheduled to open in 2021.
A German/Swiss nationwide, Koth is a pacesetter within the hospitality business, bringing a wealth of expertise and information spanning over 35 years.
Previous to the present position, he held various senior management positions on the InterContinental Lodge Group, together with normal supervisor of the InterContinental Doha.

He’s a fan of latest artwork, tradition and opera and in his leisure time, he enjoys taking part in cricket, badminton and travelling along with his household.
The property is owned by Emirates Palace Firm, a subsidiary of the federal government of Abu Dhabi.
The resort, which is a high quality instance of Arabian design, was conceived to host the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit and stays the popular venue for a number of high-profile conferences in the private and non-private sector.
