Going to Como next week 😍
Thanks for the hints Iz. Although we'd been to Como before, a few days before we went, a week ago I thought I'd take a look on youtube for things to do. We stayed at a hotel 20 minutes by road from Bellagio. We'd already been to the castle in Varenna and in my opinion is one the best views available anywhere. Thanks for the tip to go the Balcony of Italy, it is a bit of trek, even by car up that hill but it is well worth it. The views are magnificent.
We also went, at your recommendation, to the ST Martino church. Once again well worth the effort. Thanks.
We went to San Maurizio close to the Funicular railway that takes you to Brunate. The drive up to San Maurizio was a challenge to say the least but once again more than worth the effort.
La Lanterna is also a worthy restaurant recommendation and we dined there several times.
So, when's Part 2 coming? 🙁
you are super funny! great video! Im going to como tomorrow 🙂
Too MUCH TALKING HEAD, not enough views . . .
You are the firs foreigner I hear talking about tagliatelle alla bolognese instead of spaghetti! I think I fell in love with you all!
Is this this town, everybode wants to photograph from only this ONR spot for Instagram?
It’s very rare to find a great looking woman’s personality so bubbly and beautiful that when you look at her face you don’t see her face but physical manifestation of her personality. Wrinkles and age will never affect this woman, she will always be beautiful.
I hate how she says bolognese. It screams I’m uncultured and American. But hey thats my opinion I’m only Italian so what would i know
in winter…not really..
when you guys drove to Switzerland did you have to get some sort of toll sticker for your car?
Nice to see this beautiful lake in the fall with the leaves turning color. Most videos are done in the May to Sept window, so this gave another version. Great you can still do all this traveling with two young kids. Looked like a fabulous trip!
Why I'm not there!?
Excellent travel video for anyone with young children. Job well done.
"Like, I was like…"
I feel so lucky living in Europe in Ireland, relatively cheap airfare and within 2 to 3 hrs of such history and culture all around Europe.
it would better if you have shown more scene than talk too much.
Have you seen Mr. Vladimir Soloviev walking around there?
I’m so glad you love your stay here in Italy Milan is great I go there once in a while for holiday. You need to come visit Gaeta Italy when you get a chance.
since you love rain and ferries you should come to Seattle 🙂
There's playgrounds because there are a lot of stone cottages as you called them (they're called baite in italy) where family use to spend summer.
Please when you come to europe , learn the pronunciations at least.
I loved loved this video; and your sweet-natured presentation.
I need more MERCH options! Lol. Didn’t I see you had a new hoodie?
The mountain goats!!!!!!! A dream
She craves attention and seems moody when he makes comments.
She definitely has a bossy pain in the ass attitude.
how do you find things to do? do you have an itinerary or you find stuff to do as you go?
Italy's lakes polluted by trash, untreated sewage

AWESOME!!!
We’re here right now and the home we’re staying at is directly below the little church 🙂 we’re hiking up to it in the morning.
Very well done! Beautiful video.
Funny fact: an Italian would never ever eat pizza or lasagne alla bolognese while visiting these places, unless he/she lives in the surroundings. Pizza is from Naples and Lasagne are from, well, Bol8gna of course. Try pizzoccheri or polenta taragna next time. Again: great video!
This was delightful.
Bellagio is indeed very touristic and crowded most of the times. The Gardens of Villa Melzi definitely worth a visit: they are wonderful.
My humble suggestion is to pay a visit also to the other two big lakes in northern Italy: Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda.
Absolutely loved this…we’re headed there at the end of the month, now that we can travel out of France 🙂 thank you!
New subscriber here. Where did you filmed the part when you told the story abot Lake Como? Nice background
If you had some ND and Polarizing filters for your lenses, those "colors" would have popped a little more.

Amazing places, glad to discover your channel! 🌿🌼💕
I first saw one of your videos spring of 2019 while checking out YouTube videos on Amsterdam. Discovered this one later in the fall while looking into Como. It was this second video that made me a fan. I enjoy your work!
