MSC Cruises has confirmed the naming ceremony for its latest flagship, MSC Virtuosa, will happen in Dubai on November 27th.
Alongside companions Dubai Tourism, DP World and Emirates Airline, the occasion will likely be hosted at Mina Rashid (Port Rashid).
The latest addition to the MSC Cruises fleet derives her title from the Italian phrase virtuoso and refers back to the grasp craftsmen who designed the ship.
Her naming will likely be celebrated with an array of stay leisure and performances awaiting the specifically invited friends from around the globe in addition to from throughout the Gulf area.
The event may also be part of the celebrations surrounding the Golden Jubilee of the UAE and will likely be staged as Dubai welcomes the world to Expo 2020.
Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chief government of Emirates Airline, stated: “Dubai has charted a robust and regular course to grow to be a world tourism vacation spot and most popular regional cruising gateway.
“The milestone naming ceremony and maiden voyage of MSC Virtuosa from Dubai underscores the belief and confidence that town has earned as an important associate for the cruise trade.”
The Golden Jubilee programme will see a bunch of actions held throughout the United Arab Emirates, celebrating its formation in 1971 and its rise from a small buying and selling port to world vacation spot.
