You know most people dont take the paths
Drive on through.
Native here and once u get high…you won’t be doing any of this s h I t !! And yes we LOVE our pets here!!
Citizen Rail just had several Major health code violations for how they were dry aging their beef….
She mentioned only 1 brewery in the Rino area. There are more like 9 or 10 in close proximity of each other. If you want to do a Denver brewery tour, it's a good area for it. You could easily just rent bikes and cruise from one to the other.
Since everyone wants to just shout out mean words, Imma say this. Thanks for taking the time to create this video. Everyone most likely worked endlessly until it was done.
I do agree there is more here than just those points you mentioned but it was a short list of highlights and you all did a great job catching the eye for a tourists.
Keep up the good work and dismiss the keyboard warriors.
lol, the B-Cycles are gone
DONT GO to Denver it sucass along with the food and people. I cant wait to move from this fucked up state
Here’s my tip to you… Just don’t 😂
Here's a tip ….DONT GO TO DENVER….
ITS DIRTY THE COPS ARE CORRUPT….AND THERE ARE GANGS EVERYWHERE!!!!
I come to Colorado just to book a cabin, get my telescope, smoke up and watch the stars
Wipe Vicks vapor rub under your nose to cover up the smell of bumbs
Traffic sucks REALLY BAD even on the weekends 😠
Seriously… As a Denver resident i feel like you missed the mark here… not just how you said "chautauqua" either…. How you gonna recommend Boulder over Estes Park? Boulder is way too urbanized now. Also.. if its your first time in Denver you probably want to check out the 16th St Mall. Also close to Union Station. Oh yeah… you left out the legal weed and decriminalized mushrooms too.
Swifts breakfast on 9th sante fe is a good old diner foods always good
How to spend a fortune in one day in Denver guide.
The liberals are pussys go slap them around cheeseman park is where jared polis rapes young boys. They are heavy in the anus category. Pink eye is a big thing, hands are not being washed after the anal canal parties. Come on down we are one of the hottest spots for STDs. And pink eye
Just watched a homeless guy take a shit on the sidewalk while people walked right passed him, he then wiped his ass with a t-shirt and threw that on the sidewalk as well. This is normal here, also Denver has become a sanctuary city, you know what that means, we have a huge population of illegal aliens that brought drug cartels, car theft rings. I was born here but my family is moving because we just can't take it anymore, natives are abandoning this place in droves. It's not like they portray it, it's much worse. Not to mention they legalized camping for homeless people so they are everywhere and out of control. If you drive anywhere, be prepared for an hour commute to get anywhere, and get ready for the insane drivers. Hope you have a good crash rating on your vehicle.
Don't let the whiners and misanthropists put you off. Denver is one of the best cities in the world, right now, for lots of good reasons.
That said, it is a CITY, and it has a great economy, and that means bad traffic at rush hour and relatively high housing prices for the region (although quite low as compared to successful cities on either coast).
Also, Denver has very little in the way of inner city crime, as compared to other major metropolitan areas, and there is no such thing as a truly "dangerous" neighborhood, here.
Get over it.
That said, why would visitors care about housing prices? The traffic is a bigger concern, but you can easily bypass the bad traffic on south I-25 by simply renting a bike and taking it with you on an RTD light rail train. Although still not a great system, yet, those run to various places in the metro area, and not just between the airport and Union Station.
They're also much cheaper than a taxi or a shared ride.
The video also should've mentioned the best local hotels. In addition to the good food in and around Union Station, it's also a high-end boutique Crawford Hotel. The art deco Oxford Hotel, a couple of blocks away, is a treat for history buffs as it was built in 1891 — two years before the Buckhorn Exchange restaurant.
More affordable is the Downtown Denver Marriott and the Sheraton hotels, at the other end of the 16th Street Mall. More pricey is the four-star Brown Palace Hotel, another historic landmark loved by President Dwight Eisenhower and Elvis Presley.
As for beer, you can't throw a rock without hitting a fantastic microbrewery, in Denver. One of the first is right across from Union Station. The Wynkoop Brewery was originally owned by former Denver Mayor and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, and it helped trigger the renaissance of the Union Station neighborhood. Newer places have better beer, these days, but the Wynkoop is worth a stop.
The Denver Art Museum (weirdly, not mentioned at all) has the world-famous Hamilton Building, designed by reknowned architect, Daniel Libeskind, as well as the newly-remodeled modernist Gio Ponti building, connected to the Hamilton Building by covered pedestrian bridge. The North Building has an amazing collection of American Indian art, as well as fine items from elsewhere in the world, while the Hamiton building skews toward more recent styles.
Next to the Hamilton Building is the Clyfford Still Museum, built during Hickenlooper's administration to hold all the remaining paintings in the estate of abstract expressionist Clyfford Still. While it's not my thing, it's a must-see for those who appreciate that style of painting.
Other interesting spots include the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (catch a play or a concert); the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, both located in City Park. Denver's music scene is coming along nicely, so plan to stay up late on the weekends.
We also have many pot-shops and marijuana cafes, if you're in to that sort of thing; psilocybin mushrooms were just legalized in the Denver city limits (although the council is still struggling to build the ordinances around that); and the city has lots of locations for visitors that date back to the gold and silver rush era of the late 19th Century that made the city boom. Check out the Molly Brown House and other such sites, if you like history.
Denver is worth a trip at any time of year (the mountains don't close after ski season; camping, hiking, river-rafting and other outdoor activities take place year-round, here) and, despite what you read in this thread, only a very few of us are a**holes.
Here is a tip… do not come here..
Stop coming here, we are full of idiots from everywhere. COMPLETELY RUINED.
Chat a quaw?
You definitely have to see the big mural on the wall of Silver Stem Northfield dispensary! Just type KUSHTRONAUT on google maps and you'll see!
From reading comments, I see Denver people are not welcoming. My Bf got a job in Colorado & I m planning to move. OMG! The comments!
Oxygen if you are from costal regions. And most people are gonna visit during winter for skiing.
Denver is an amazing city!
It's $10.50 now for the rail.
Rule 1: Don't. We don't want you here.
Do not come to Denver …you people are over crowding our city and none of y'all can drive…it's horrible. We are so sick of it.
#1 top do not go to Denver, CO as it is a sanctuary vity for criminal illegal Aliens and they are released to kill and many other crimes. It is bad down town and very dirty.
How is this town so popular its so boring
Here's the best advise……..DONT COME…WE'RE FULL!
If you want to see homeless camping and craping on the streets come to Denver!
